After completing an exceptional year in 2020, we have continued to over perform in 2021 globally and in Europe. According to Omdia, the global market share of TCL Branded TVs continued to increase to 11,5% in 2021, firmly ranking number 3 worldwide. The global sales revenue of TCL TV Business increased by 24.3% year-on-year to HK$49.27 billion (USD $6,3 Billion), registering better overall sales performance than the industry average. Relying on its first-mover advantage in the Mini LED field, TCL achieved significant growth in the sales volume of mid-to-high-end smart screen. The sales volume of QLED TV and Mini LED TV increased by 53.8% and 50.5% year-on-year, respectively.

The sales volume of TCL TV sustained a high growth momentum in European markets, with the sales revenue up by 52.2% year-on-year. In 2021, we have consolidated our Number 3 position in France, and we gained market share in most of the European markets. We are Top 4 in Italy, Czech Republic and in the Nordic countries. We are also Top 5 in Poland for 2021 and even moved up to Top 4 in the last quarter of the year. The growth in Europe has been accelerated by the success of our 2021 QLED and Mini LED C Series allowing - in some of these countries - to reach a double-digit market share before the end of 2021.

And we keep moving forward.

We are continually advancing and developing our Mini LED technology and we are also taking a major step in the field of sound with the second generation of our exclusive and awarded RAY•DANZ technology. Our TV range now covers all market segments, and we are proud to answer to our customers’ new expectations with ultra large-size screens (with several 75-inch TVs, but also 85-inch and 98-inch models), offering the best of entertainment with affordable premium technology and superior design.

Even if TCL is mostly known as a TV and Audio brand, we recently launched several models of refrigerators, washing machines, air purifiers and robot vacuum cleaners in the European markets. This year, we will accelerate our domestic appliances strategy in Europe, and support our ambition to provide a growing line-up of home comfort products. We have a lot going on in 2022 and we are very proud of our new innovative line-up to be launched. This year, we are announcing twice more products than last year : they are all more practical, healthy and connected. Our ambition is to reach 30% of our European product mix through smart home comfort products within 5 years.
